This for an
antique blue stone carved caskets with lid, animal (possibly a young dog) form,
made from
blue stone, from Lan Xhang kingdom
(Ancient Laos).
This casket
was made for keeping holy relics (Phra that) of Buddha or monk saint for
worship in
former
time.
Date : 11th - 17 th century.
Material :
semi translucent blue stone.
Condition :
excellent, covered with limestone patina due to the age.
