Antiques Swatow Pewter Tea Caddy Container Antique Chinese Bottle Canister

This is an antique Chinese  pewter tea caddy that is marked on the bottom with Chinese character writing. 

 4 sides are hand engraved with image of  bamboo, lotus, pine and vase with plant in, 2 side with  Chinese character.  

This item was found in the shipwreck at the bottom of Chao phraya river in Ayutthaya province, middle of Thialand. 

Probably imported from Swatow province of Chinese in King Rama V. (about 100 yrs.)

Size : 6 1/2" tall x 4 3/8" x 2 3/4".

Date :  circa early 19th century.

Condition :  some dents and scratches.
